- Never. The address is parsed locally in your browser. No request is made, so the sender cannot tell you looked and no malicious page loads.
- It says no red flags. Is the link safe?
- Not necessarily. A well-built phishing page can use a clean-looking address on a freshly registered domain. Absence of warnings is not proof of safety.
- Why does the tool care about punycode?
- Domains beginning
xn--encode non-Latin characters that can look identical to ordinary letters, which is a classic way to imitate a well-known brand.
